What all can I get into??

Scroll to the bottom to get the "scoop" on this picture
Well it was a yucky rainy day here in Tampa!!! However, we are blessed for another great day! These are the kind of days that I think should automatically be a day off because I could accomplish so much at home on a rainy day. However, since we are back to another week, here are pictures of little Miss Priss. Miss Priss is definitely what she was this afternoon! She is growing and becoming more independent every day!!! Still.... not much hair. I keep saying it because I keep thinking it should start growing more and more every day, but it doesn't. It has grown in the back but not as much on top. I just can't picture her with hair : )

We had a fabulous weekend, but I am still one of the few, probably very very few, that misses some cool weather. These 80 degree temps came way too fast. Looking forward to another week and a great weekend ahead!!!

So here are all the items/things/activities she engaged in this afternoon:
She was going through a drawer, found all the gum, got it all out, and began unwrapping it all!

She decided to rearrange ALLLLLLL of my nail polish! At one point I thought she was color coordinating the colors then realized she was getting them out how I had them organized, LOL

Do you think I have enough OPI polish? This was only half
Last but not least she wanted a little bite of her pretzel in some icing. I let her have one bite and that was the only bite she took. Painting herself with icing was more fun so I just let her. Needless to say, we headed straight to the bathtub next

My little Model

So one of the first things that took place the very next day after we got back from Seattle was Charlee Kate's first fashion show. This was more work than I anticipated, LOL. Luckily I had mom to help out because Jeremy was sick (again). She wore the cutest little outfit and was a big show out until fashion show time. Then she wasn't too sure because of the LOUD music. It was cute though! I met these sweet ladies at Neimans awhile back when I was pregnant. From the moment she was an infant they told me as soon as she could walk they wanted her in the show, so this was the first show (since she was able to walk). It was really cute and I was so glad that she got to do it. It may be her first and last or it could be a first of many. We will see : )

She loved watching this little girl!!! They have the same glitter TOMS from Neimans
All the little kids in the show, this was a smaller show, but it was cute!

And the vacation has to end : (

Well.... it seems like the whole week off went by in the blink of an eye!!!! How is that possible? The last day in Seattle was so much fun! I truly enjoyed my vacation. Jeremy and I always do a vacation for our anniversary. The memories are way more important than a material item and we love to just go somewhere and see new places (or even old places), so that is a tradition for us! This was a great vacation, big city, lots to do, yet we were able to relax. I never really thought Seattle would have that much to see and do, but it really did and I loved that trip!!!

I am leaving you with a few pictures of Seattle and some that my mom took while I was gone. They are sooooo cute! (of the babies of course, LOL)

There are all the pictures from the view at the Needle! I did not take nearly as many pictures as I usually do. I think I was just in relaxation mode!!! The views were gorgeous and the long dinner was fabulous too. It was so worth it and the BEST ENDING to our trip!

This was a note the hotel left for us and they were supposed to leave us cookies and milk the first night; however, they were out of them (weird) so we got all kinds of nuts and fruit. It was very yummy! They knew Jeremy was sick b/c she said they would send up wine, but I opted for cookies and milk, LOL.
I have tons of pictures from the Neiman Marcus Fashion show! Those are still to come this week!!!

Seattle by Ferry.... was the next stop!

**KEEP IN MIND*** This post was written yesterday (Thursday) but I never sent it. Now I am flying home and had time to send it because I am on the plane. You have to love in flight wi-fi!!!

Time to head into the city! It is so fascinating to see how different God creates the world. Everything here is just so different from what we are used to in the South. I have made several trips to the West Coast so I have seen this, but it is always so different no matter where we go. Some of it is so nice to see and visit because I would not want my everyday life to be like this.

The ride on the ferry was exciting. We drove our car up, parked it on the ferry, then it took about 40 minutes into the city. It was gorgeous as we were able to see the view of the city skyline coming in.
What the ferry looks like that we took in

Here is one view but this is basically how all the houses looked in Seattle. They all sat on the hill.
This day it was raining as we pulled onto the Ferry. The picture below is where we park our cars on the boat while we went upstairs. They had a restuarant, free wi-fi, etc... up there. I guess that is what some people do every day, drive their car on the boat, eat on the boat, surf the internet on the boat, WOW... just another way of life.
Riding on the ferry!

After arriving, we drove through the city stopping at several places along the way. We ended up at the University Shopping Center, which has great shops. We ate lunch at a cool sushi place there. Very Different. We didnt realize how many asians lived in seattle so the asian cuisine is pretty good no matter where you stop.

This was not your normal Tiffany & C. It was all "wood" looking, very different.
Our really cool sushi place!
After a fabulous lunch and the organic mini donuts they had...which were quite yummy...we headed to urgent care. Yes jeremy had been sick for 4 days so we went to get him some meds. Turns out he tested negative for the flu, but had bronchitis and could have had a mild case of the flu. However, the doctor prescribed meds so we got them! He has visited the ER before in New York City so this was just par for the course. I found a drugstore by the hotel to get meds. There just happened to be the flagship Nordstroms right next door as well. No problem waiting for meds... I just took a little time to shop. We were tired by the end of that day (Tuesday) so we were in bed early. We are staying at a fabulous hotel that is literally 1 block from every store and every place imaginable! That was soo exciting!

Wednesday involved just walking the city. Despite all the weather reports, it was gorgeous all day! We shopped, shopped, shopped, ate at Pike Place Market, and walked about 8 miles.

The very first Starbucks ever. This was pretty neat to see

It was super nice. I haven't been able to just walk in anywhere and shop on my own time in awhile. Jeremy was feeling so much better and had more energy than he had in days. It was nice that our first couple of days were at the resort just relaxing. I can't tell you the last time I had 12 hours of sleep 2 days in a row. It probably won't happen again for awhile, LOL

Today... Thursday, was just finishing up whatever we wanted to do in the city. Being 3 hours behind makes me feel like I have all the time in the world! I am up by 5:00 or 5:30 West Coast time b/c that is 8:00 or 8:30 East Coast time. Then we are in bed by 7:00 West Coast time, yet I have all this extra time!!! In a few.... Jeremy wants to watch some of the b'ball games, while I maybe shop across the street, then dinner at the Seattle Needle! Can't wait for that! It will be a great way to end the trip.
We stopped to eat the famous Beechers where they make their own cheese. It was amazing to watch, but I didn't eat too much of my meal. Something about seeing the process of cheese being made was not very appetizing.

This was the last picture I took throughout the day shopping... of course a favorite place to stop in, but it was a nice looking LV. Never hurts to go in... you never know what you may find! I liked it : )

We fly out super early tomorrow morning, which I am so thankful for. I can't wait to get home and see my baby girl! I have a feeling she will have a hard hard time when her Gammy leaves. Saturday is a big day for her... her first fashion show at Neiman Marcus. We will see how she does : )

More posts to come... but that is all I have in me for now!
