Happy Birthday Jeremy!

Happy Happy Birthday to Jeremy! We have celebrated lots of birthdays together, but each year I try to do something different to make it more special for him. Jeremy is probably the most selfless, easy going, good hearted person I know. I know that he is my husband, but it doesn't take someone long to figure out what kind of an amazing person he is. I thank God (and his parents) for giving me him and for raising such an amazing man!!!

He is an amazing daddy to CK. She absolutely adores him! He always puts my needs (and wants) and CK's before his, whether it is the restaurant we want to eat at, the place to vacation, something I think we both "need/want", anything.... he puts us first. I LOVE to make a special weekend alllll about him! Even if his birthday falls during the week (we still celebrate) but try to have a weekend all for him. We are super excited to celebrate his birthday with him this weekend!

As for the cake.... I couldn't wait to get him a yummy cake from one of my two favorite bakerys here. I always try to "scout out" an amazing bakery because they can do better than me! I couldn't wait to order him a yummy cake. If you ever come to my house for a birthday you won't see cute fondant cakes and leave saying WOW that was a cute cake!!! You will see a simple cake that is absolutely the best thing you can put in your mouth and leave saying I WANT MORE of that cake!! LOL! This is one thing in my life where simple comes BEFORE cutesy! However, as I went through all the yummy flavors to see what he wanted he said "I don't really want a cake". I couldn't believe it. I tried to talk him into one, but he is so good and likes to be healthy and didn't want it. So we decided to get one cupcake so he would have a candle to blow out and Charlee Kate would have something to eat : ) It may be one cupcake, but believe me, it will be a GOOD ONE!!!!
