We did it!

Heather and I ran the Gasparilla Half-marathon this weekend in Tampa. It was a GORGEOUS Florida day. Really... we could not have asked for a better day. We ran the whole thing and it was so much fun. Of course we had lots of "blonde moments" from the minute we left the house at 4:30 am, from no cash for parking, to getting in major traffic, to putting our shoe tags on wrong, and then going across the starting line 10 minutes late. We laughed and laughed and could care less, that is what made it soooo much fun! Of course, Jeremy and Mark were there for us when we crossed the finish line and then we all went to eat afterwards. What a fun day and a great experience!!! Now Seaside half-marathon, here I come.... next weekend too : )

Jeremy's mom made this picture when she was here a few weeks ago. She cracks me up in this picture! Barbara fixed her all up with all her cute puffs and bow. I should probably add that since this picture her closet has been completely reorganized and it looks so good now. She was taking up 2 closets (the guest bedroom too) so I finally figured out a way to combine it all to her closet and to her wardrobe.

What a wonderful weekend we had. Mom and dad were here for a VERY SHORT trip for Hunter's 4th birthday. It was so cute! Here are a few pics from the weekend.

The girls were dressed for the cowboy party!!! They had their western shirts and wrangler jeans trimmed in pink. Kelly made these cute pink bandana hats. Unfortunately, CK's outfit was almost too small. I bought it back in November. It didn't stay on her long. I was laughing at her little outfit.

So the big question is.... do I really have this extra time to take her pictures? Yes and no. No I really don't, but if she is in such a good mood, laundry, organizing, running, etc... is not as important as capturing those pictures. So I guess Yes... you can always make time for what you really want to do. Here are few pictures of my happy baby Monday when I was OFF work!

Lately around our house...

So much has been happening at the Wilson house. Here are a few things to catch you up!! For one, the pictures you see are Charlee Kate at the audiologist this morning. About 5 weeks ago, we questioned her being able to "fully hear". Of course, the thought just freaked me out and I was a wreck that first day I even thought about it, but I knew I could not worry. God would take care of her. We went to an appointment a few weeks ago with the audiologist and they wanted us to come back for her to get a more intense test of her brain, the nerves, etc... so we went this morning. After throwing her off her schedule, taking her in hungry and sleepy so we could get good readings, everything is WONDERFUL! No problems at all and that is such an answered prayer! She can hear just fine!!! Which... I started to realize she could, but since the doctor's wanted to make sure, I did too!

Another big event in the Wilson house!!!! Charlee Kate FINALLY decided she liked the spoon and would eat real food! It was pears, but now the fun begins!!
My little girl laughing and talking after I took her all around the universe and threw her off her normal routine. She loves to be on the go and does so good though. Boy... I am truly blessed!

No one freak out... we are not letting her eat Peanut butter, lol! She always sits with us at meal times, but she is in the bumbo. Well, she is soooo over toys at the table. She wants real stuff so the peanut butter jar and a huge bag of pretzels are her favorite play items at the moment.

Happy Valentines Day! Still more pictures to come, but we are so blessed to have Miss Charlee Kate to celebrate Valentines Day with. She is such a joy! How blessed am I that God allowed me to be a mommy to this little happy, healthy girl!!

We took her to the mall for a little bit yesterday and her hats become quite the conversation piece, but we couldn't walk 5 steps without someone stopping us. At one point, some random person stopped to take her picture. Of course, she was in the Baby B'jorn, her favorite, and everytime someone even looked at her she started smiling and laughing, which made it even cuter. At one point she squealed so loud, Jeremy and I both started laughing. She has never done that. She is such a happy baby, but becomes beside herself at the mall. I came to one conclusion.... THIS is the part of Charlee Kate where she is just like her mamma! She LOVES THE MALL!

On our way to Marty's, but I just loved how cute and sweet she looked in her white flower hat and her pink and white polka dotted outfit with the white flower.

This magazine picture is soooo appropriate for Charlee Kate. Jace, Jennifer's little boy, pointed to this picture and said "Look Charlee Kate". Ha! I guess it is obvious, even to a 2 year old, that she wears a lot of crazy hats. This is the picture that Jenn sent me.

For those of you that don't know Jennifer and Jace... here they are! They look just alike too!!
