Breakfast with Santa

I love when we do breakfast with Santa! This year it fell on Beckham's birthday. What a great way to celebrate. The magic of Santa doesn't last long enough so I want to treasure every minute of it with the kids. We went to breakfast with Santa at The Village Tavern this year. It was a great atmosphere. Charlee Kate was super excited! Beckham liked seeing Santa from a distance. The day was warmer than normal for December but it was a gorgeous day!

Charlee Kate had her list in hand ready to see Santa!

Eating some pancakes and eggs
I loved watching her talk to Santa
She read him her list. We do three gifts like the three gifts brought to baby Jesus. Works perfectly for us!

Sweet friends! Ada and CK
After breakfast with Santa, we had time to spare. We spent time running around the summit taking pictures of the kids and the decorations.

Love these two sweet babies of mine

Mommy's picture with the kids...this happens bc I am always taking them but I did want to prove I was there

I spy Beckham!

Happy birthday Beckham..2!

I cannot believe this baby boy is two! He's still my baby even though he's really not a baby anymore. It makes me sad that it's going so very fast. He is definitely ALL boy, loves trucks, tractors, riding toys, trains...and can get mad quiet easily but that is slowly getting better. He loves to follow Charlee Kate around and thankfully she loves to play mommy to him. He is a daddy's boy but can switch to a mommy's boy pretty quickly. Football is one of his favorite things to watch! He is attached at my hip when Jeremy is gone and loves to rock. He did not want to rock as much as a baby but loves it now. I will rock him all day long!! I am so thankful God gave us this little answered prayer to complete our family!

His birthday was pretty low key this year, mainly because it falls in December and I remember that a 2 year birthday is never a big deal to kids. We started with a celebration with breakfast with Santa, noccalula falls in Gadsden, then off to the mountains for the weekend. It was a nice getaway but truthfully...he would rather be home than any other place. I know that will change one day.

Happy birthday my sweet boy and I am so thankful to be your mommy!

December

December has been a good month so far. A month of fun, family and friend events, and lots of extra relaxing plans. I did not want this month to lose its "sparkle" in the midst of craziness, so I have tried to keep it that way. So far it's been amazing 🎄❤️

Lisa and I planned dinner with these two girls at the Cheesecake Factory! That has always been a favorite for all of us!

December has been unseasonably warm. I like cold but we have had some great afternoons walking home
Homewood Christmas parade. 1 hour long but a great parade

Thanksgiving week

A week of pictures....we had a great thanksgiving break! Our family has battled some sicknesses here and there but I think we are all feeling better! We had a great time at Nanas for the Wilson thanksgiving, grandmother ogles for my family's side and then Black Friday shopping in Atlanta and the iron bowl. I always enjoy all those fun festivities!!!

Day 1 of the break...ENT visit. My sweet girl has to get tubes again
Painting pottery pieces
Daddy and CK headed to the new car lot

They came home with a surprise for mommy 😍
Thanksgiving day was a gorgeous one

Iron bowl night...roll tide
Making gingerbread houses. Something everyone has fun doing

Football

We just love football! I think every year, it's even more fun. I think I like it even more because it's a part of "fall"...my favorite season!!!

We decided to take both kids to the last home football game for Alabama. This would be Beckham's first real game. He absolutely loves to watch it on tv so taking him was so exciting. He FROZE the first quarter. It was overwhelming I am sure but oh so fun! Charlee Kate pretty much knows as much as I do about football. (Which is a good amount haha...but for a 6 year old girls, it's pretty good). She wants to know details about the game and what's happening. It's really fun to listen to her explain what's happening. All in all...we had a wonderful day in T-town!

We were ready for the gorgeous day!

The day went as planned....nap on the way to the game
This is how we roll!! Tailgate time
Entering the tunnel...it was loud. A lot for a little guy
That face shows it all...he wasn't quiet sure at first
The first few moments ❤️❤️❤️
She was talking ninety to nothing! Ready to cheer on Alabama! 🏈🐘❤️
My parents came and sat with us. Even Santa is a Roll tide fan! CK didn't want her picture with him unless someone else joined in. Pop does whatever for her 💙
