Christmas with our family

We had Christmas at our house this year with everyone in my family because Beckham was so small. It was so much fun!! We actually did a lot of entertaining at our house this year since it was harder for us to go places. I really enjoyed it!

My heart is full!!! What a blessing!

A few visitors at home and the hospital. We honestly have had so many but usually Beckham was sleeping so I didn'tget  pictures.  

The great grands!

We took both kids to see my Granddaddy Whatley (my dad's dad) and my grandmother Ogle (my moms mom) on Friday. It was a nice day and a great day to visit with them and let them really spend time with Beckham. Our kids are so lucky to have great grands and it was a relaxing time at both places!! We also visited my Granddaddys grave site because it was too cold to go after the funeral the other day. Super cold this weekend and single digits on the way! But it was a good weekend! Jeremy and I had alone time to go to Atlanta all day Saturday. We went early and enjoyed shopping and lunch. I missed my babies and my parents and Jeremy's kept them, but it was a much needed break for some hours!

He just looked so big here with grandmother holding him, yet I don't really feel like he is that big! I took the picture to show how laid back and relaxed he was. 

Charlee...aka Granddaddy Ogle

Oh how we will miss my granddaddy or Gogle, as the great grands call him! Granddaddy ogle passed away last Thursday December 26. I will miss him greatly and honestly can't imagine our family functions without him. I have many many memories with him... I just remember pretending I was sick as a little kid so I could stay with him instead of go to school. I also used to meet him at Jacks to eat the breakfast special when I was in town. My sister and I always loved spending the night with our grandparents!! They always made us the best breakfast and we loved watching heehaw there! Charlee Kate is named after him because he calls everyone Charlee! As it was said at the funeral, I hope Jesus doesn't mind being called Charlee haha! I know he is in a better place but I still miss him and worry about my grandmother as she adjusts to life without him. We loved and will miss him! This world was a better place because it was blessed by my granddaddy ogle! 

A story in pictures...birth 1st post

The pictures will tell the story! My L &D was actually easier than mine with Charlee Kate's. I had a few minutes of strong contractions before I got another epidural boost, but other than that it was fast! I really feel like the constant exercising really attributed to such a great pregnancy and labor and delivery. Our family was all there and Kelly and Ella made it from Charlotte!  It was a gorgeous cold day... Which those who know me, know that's my favorite weather. All in all... It was a perfect day and one of the most memorable months as I had several special Christmas events with just Charlee Kate before Beckham was born, the birth of Beckham to complete our little family, and all the special memories and relaxing days of being at home with both of my babies.

We have had an unbelievable response to neighbors, Sunday school friends, friends, parents from my school, and of course family that have brought dinners, presents, and offered their help. The response and thoughtfulness, especially during the busy Christmas season, as been overwhelming. We are so blessed to have our friends and community that love us so much! What a fabulous place to call home!

Charlee Kate had her precious Christmas program the day before I had Beckham. I was determined to make it to this program and it was adorable!!! 

Whew...I was told I wasn't swollen but I felt it in this picture. This was about 24 hrs before Beckham was born. 

 11:07... Head comes first, 11:08 Beckham is born. There is a reason they have to clock when the head comes out. I learned about that!
