"What if" world

I read a great devotional on this and how this is a world you do NOT want to live in. I know we all get caught up in it, but the "what if" world is not a good place to be. Sometimes it is fun to dream about that world, but better to live in the NOW world. It was such a good reminder to me to be thankful for what I have and what is going RIGHT now in my life because that is God's plan for me right now. I always tell my students "lets not play the what if game", LOL.

Week is flying by, like I anticipated, but has actually been much better than I thought. Getting lots accomplished, had my last observation today (Whew), getting ready for the big trips coming up and the nice, much needed, very exciting, BREAK!!!!! Yay for hump day tomorrow.

Just a few random shots. I plan to work on my picture taking skills and get better pictures starting Spring Break. I am even lucky I have these 2 pictures though. One was after school one day and the other was after a very horrible "BREAKDOWN" morning that did not go so well. I will let you decide which is which. Bless her heart, this time change has not been easy to explain to a 2 1/2 year old (or the 3o year olds either), but of all weeks for Jeremy to have to be gone some. Oh well, we are making it through it!!!

Last but not least... shoes, I just love shoes for this little girl, but these scream her name (and mine). She loves colors and I think this covers it. Will show them with an outfit tomorrow!

Here we go!

Here we go for the last week before Spring Break. I think I am my own "Cheerleader" because I know this week is going to be super busy, lots going on, but the end in site will be so exciting!!!! SPRING BREAK!!! Our weekend was nice, but just so fast. The boat my parents bought was delivered on Saturday morning. Jeremy and my dad were there to get the boat fixed, settled, and everything that went with it. Charlee Kate and I went to Jace's birthday party then headed to the river around lunch time. She had SUCH a fun - filled day, playing at the party, then playing at the river. She really did love it. She helped her POP drive the boat at the end.

I really did have my camera with me ALL weekend, but I never even got it out so all of these random pictures are with my phone. In my mind all weekend, I was preparing for our week ahead and losing that extra hour of sleep on Saturday night. I am ready to get this show on the road.
I thought she might be a little scared of the boat. OH WAS I WRONG! She loved it and was all over the place. I think this will be a regular thing for us. It was so nice riding out on the boat.
Brady took some rides on the boat as well. He liked it I believe!!!
At the party, having pizza and cupcakes. She loved it!
This was last week when we took a morning grocery trip to Publix. Oh how she loves Publix. The fact that they give free cookies with sprinkles is a good reason why. Thank GOODNESS Bama finally has Publix because we were so used to them in Florida and I love my Publix.
I read this Ladies Home Journal magazine one day on the elliptical. This page featured Birmingham and 4 out of the 6 "features" we places in Homewood, 1 mile from our house. Ahh... I think we are in a great place!!!

TGIT

I will take Thursday! That is one day closer to Friday. This is one of those weeks and the pictures will show it. It has been an exhausting, tiring, week, but a good one. However, I am begging for the weekend, then I will beg for Spring Break. There was NO superwoman cape ANYWHERE to be found! I tried all week and I have managed to get it all in, all done, but spreading myself thin. I finally had to accept that some weeks are just like that and it is okay. The best part is, it is Thursday and we are almost to Friday. YIPPEE!!!

Here is a picture to start our week off. This is the wall with beautiful art work on it!

Here is my fabulous re-finished bench (from a wonderful lady in Tampa) with some artwork on it. Thank GOD.... it was the washable crayons. I went through every area where we had crayons after this and trashed any that were not washable!!! THat wippee took it right off. God has been with me all week!

I take pictures of my baby girl everyday and this will be the best one you see out of all of them. I loved this little outfit too and you can hardly see it. THe person taking the pictures (ME, Of course) did horrible all week. I just accepted it was my "off week" LOL

She was being silly, would not cooperate or look at me!

She did not want to smile or really stand up. She was in a great mood, but basically was like "I don't think so". I tried to get the cute stuart weitzman shoes to stay on but they are still a little big. Bummer!!!

I had to put this picture in so you could continue to see how the week was going for us....

She loved looking at herself in the mirror! She finally can start wearing my favorite bows that I got for her when she was a baby. I loved these bows!!!

The morning potty is working out WELL!!! That is why she always has pez. It is her surprise when she uses the potty.

Blurry picture, not very cooperative, pretty typical this week, LOL

There is only ONE reason this picture is in here!!! To show how tired I really look. I looked at this and thought, that explains it all this week. Well there are actually TWO reasons. I always text my "asian sister Karen" (as I like to call her) every morning. We text about random things and lots of times, what to wear for the day. I already had this purple sweater dress out and my navy Frye boots, both several years old. She sends me a picture, via text, and has on the EXACT same outfit!!! Now we are known to have the same clothes, she was my fashion friend in Tampa and we bought a lot of the same things WITHOUT knowing it, but... the fact that we picked a random outfit to both wear the same day was CRAZY!!!

So it hasn't been a horrible week by any means. I have had some great walks with my little girl in the afternoons, dinner with my family all week and still managed to cook some great meals, a fabulous long run with my "working friend", some things to look forward to this weekend and at Spring Break, so it hasn't been bad, just very busy and tiring. I am reminded constantly how God has blessed us for sure!!!

New Technology

New technology and my "bubble" I live in have quite a story! What those two things amount too.... are a dead battery in the car. When my car would not crank the last few days and we kept having to jump it off, Jeremy took it to the dealership. This totally should not be happening so we couldn't figure out what it was. Turns out, my car goes about 3-5 miles in a day and on the weekends we are living the "SIMPLE" life so we just hang around here, walk to church, millions of restaurants to walk to, shops to walk to, so my car is not driven enough and the battery does not get charged so we need to take the car for a "drive" every now and then. How funny is that, yet how amazing is that!!! Love it! These next few weeks will be super busy so it will get some driving time! Pictures to come tomorrow!!!

Team Wilson

Team Wilson came about for 2 reasons.... I have a friend who always refers to her family this way and it makes sense. We are a "team" and we are a "family". Then when Jeremy and I do things together, help each other out, work together (all of this has to take place all the time for things to work), he always says "great team work!". Of course, this is Jeremy being his fun, loving, goofy self, but he is right. It is team work, so we are totally TEAM WILSON now!!!!

This doggie (along with another black doggie) are some of CK's favorite things right now. The doggies need to go everywhere with us!

Heading off to church. Yes we did match, not planned, but no time to change the outfit choice so we went with it!

She is a HOMEWOOD Patriot! Friday before heading off for the day. We did get dismissed early on Friday due to all the severe weather they expected. With lots of prayers, this weather missed us and we didn't even have a tornado warning. I was so thankful! Jeremy and I almost headed south to try and avoid it and I think we would have been worse off. So glad we stayed home.

On Saturday, she headed to some of the State Basketball games while I ran a few errands. Her daddy stayed there all day and loved every minute of it! CK was just there a couple of hours.

The hair is getting so long and thick so my options of piggy tails, side bow, and ponytail are about to expand to great hair options. So excited!!!

This is what she does each day... comes in the door, strips down to a diaper, then ready to play!

More church pics! Thank goodness we didn't have to walk far. This skirt doesn't allow for great stride lengths and the boots.... not great for long walking. I wore this outfit to school one day. WHEW, learned my lesson quick!

Their facial expressions say it all! "Do we have to take more pictures?"

Off to another Monday, another week! Just 2 more weeks until Spring Break, but that is 2 weeks of complete craziness. Tons to do with work, things at home, things at nights, Jeremy traveling lots, doctor appointments, etc.... but, there is an end in sight with Spring Break. We are going to the beach, then from there Jeremy and I get to FLY AWAY ON A PLANE to somewhere by ourselves while my parents keep CK, then fly back to the beach. That is the best of both worlds and we will need that time away! Can't wait! We can make it 2 more weeks!!!

Not a great picture, but I love these leopard shoes!! Hard to see

Molly comes to visit

Charlee Kate had a lot of fun with her cousin Molly. Molly came to spend the night with us on Wednesday night. Charlee Kate gets so excited when we have company. She just loves it! It was Molly's birthday so I bought some cupcakes from DreamCakes and then we ordered pizza. The girls had a blast and CK loves it when there is someone who will play whatever random thing she wants. The best part was when I ask the girls if they wanted to do "watercolors". Charlee Kate started JUMPING up and down and getting beside herself excited. I was laughing so hard and then I said "Charlee Kate what is watercolors?". She responds, "I don't know". She was just excited to do anything!!! In her defense, I always ask her if she wants to "paint" so she was a little confused.

Looking forward to a wonderful wonderful weekend. Nothing major planned, just going to the new church again, which we seem to love and it looks to be a gorgeous day Sunday to walk to our favorite restaurant again. So excited. NOT LOOKING forward to the storms tomorrow night. If James Spann is already talking about, it has me really really worried!!!! You know here in Bama we think James Spann could take Al Roker's job easy, but I must admit, he is pretty darn good at what he does! Prayers that somehow this storm weakens!
