Time for the big "ham"

Now... those of you that live in Birmingham know that I am talking about Birmingham and not actual Thanksgiving Ham, LOL. Even though I am ready for some good ole' southern Thanksgiving food. YUMMY! It is time to head that way. All packed up and ready to go! I am so excited about wearing UGGS and boots and it actually being cold outside, verses, wearing them here in Florida when it is still 77 degrees. Charlee Kate has hers as well... something to keep those feet warm. So.... off we go in several hours and praying for safe travels. In the midst of all the fun with family and friends and lots of shopping and lots of relaxing and lots of running... ROLL TIDE!!!! We are just so excited to go home. YAY!!! Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Oh my goodness.... Baby Huggums.. Madam Alexander.. (that my mom and dad gave her last year) has become one of her favorites! She loves to carry this doll around. Mom did not want to buy them for her if I was just going to leave them in the box. What is the fun in that??? So we let her play with them and she loves it.

She even took her milk cup and tried to feed it to her baby doll. So sweet and fun. It is truly amazing how much she is catching on to these days. I am amazed how much she says now and how much she does.

Giving baby hugs!!!!

Being silly girl

After she woke up from her nap on Saturday, she sat with her daddy to watch football for about 10 minutes. She didn't even move. He loved every second of it.
This is her new thing, crawling up and down the stairs. She keeps us busy
Keep checking for posts during Thanksgiving! I am not a big POST EVERYTHING ON Facebook so for my friends that look for pictures there... you better come to the blog : )

Bama Girl NO MATTER WHAT!

The title says it all! I am a ROLL TIDE Bama girl for sure. I never miss a game or my Bama gear on Saturdays. I am not the girl that "talks about watching the game" but doesn't. I love to watch it and can't wait for the Iron Bowl next week. I am also a "Real Southern Born and Bred Bama Girl" too. I am so proud to be from there. It did take me moving away to realize how lucky I am to be from such a great place, but I can't wait to move back one day! Until then... my visits are just as exciting!!

So here are a few random pictures from the week. For some of you, this may be boring. I don't post a lot of "great deal finds" or "recipes" or anything like that. To me blogging is basically just "what have we been doing". I want our family and friends that we miss to feel like they are part of our lives by me showing what we have done each week or each day. So... to some of you, this may not be the most interesting thing, but this is our life and I love it!!!

So Crazy crazy busy week!!!! I thought it might be a little less busy, but its not. I decided to reorganize all of Charlee Kate's clothes she could no longer wear. That took forever for me to decide to what to do with what, but I think I have a good plan now. Then... I was off one day for a doctor's appointment then I got the rest of the day to do Christmas shopping all by myself. Amazing how much you can do when everyone else in the world is working and you are by yourself. It was great!

Very much looking forward to the weekend. Time to make sure everything is packed up and ready to go. I know Thanksgiving is going to be a short and sweet trip. I have to prepare for all the fun stuff that comes with getting ready to go out of town. Boy am I excited though!!! Bama, Bama.... here we come. I can't wait to see friends and family, eat some Thanksgiving food, do our usual girls shopping trip, watch some IRON BOWL football, and last but not least... run my mountains of Bama. I get so tired of flat land. I need a challenge and that sounds fabulous. I am going to do my own half marathon tomorrow. I have to get that in with a good friend, which means lots of good laughs, and catching up. So exciting that we are motivated to do this every now and then. It is actually great "catch up time" since we are so busy during the week. The bad part is getting up at 6:30 but then I am done for the day and I don't miss any of my quality time with Charlee Kate and Jeremy.

So.... that sums up what is happening in our world. Lots of pictures to come when I am home next week. I can't wait so if you want to see some random things happening in the Wilson world, just grab some good DD coffee and check out the blog every now and then.

We sure do love our "Target friends" Porter, Susan, and Wyatt. Yes for those of you that are new to my blog... we met in the Target parking lot b/c I had the best tag in the world on my car that said "Alabama Crimson Tide" and they are HUGE Auburn fans. We instantly had a bond and we love them! Susan and I were pregnant at the same time and the babies are exactly 2 months apart. They are such wonderful people and we love these friends! I love the top picture... Chloe was licking, and the 2 kiddos were sitting there like an old married couple, LOL

Jeremy and I are such fabulous host and hostesss! Porter and Susan are cleaning up toys, Charlee Kate and Jeremy are watching Bama football, and I am taking pictures, LOL. This picture cracked me up!
Jeremy's new "click clack" Under Armour sweat band. He wore it all night!

Happy Happy Birthday Jeremy!

So today was the big 33 for Jeremy! It was such a fun weekend, even more fun than my birthdays because I enjoyed making it all about him! Jeremy is always so good to have surprises for me so I wanted him to have a fun birthday weekend.

First of all, there have been a lot of things that have happened over the last few months... not to us, but just to people in general.... that has made me realize how truly truly blessed I am to have such an amazing husband. He has the most laid back, easy going personality and ALWAYS looks for the best in everyone. He is a great Christian man who does anything and everything to help me out to make my life easier. Charlee Kate and I are always put before him and his needs no matter what. So not only is he an amazing husband, but he is a much better daddy than I ever could have imagined. Charlee Kate is one lucky little girl!!!

So, yes... this post was dedicated to Jeremy and I hope he had a wonderful birthday. He deserved the best!

It all started on Thursday when I went to Wrights Deli in South Tampa to get the best birthday cake ever! We do love some Publix cake, but I wanted something special and delicious so I got a chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. Boy was it good too!!!

Then the rest of the weekend was whatever he wanted to do. Of course, he insisted I go to Bayshore with one of my friends to go run on Saturday b/c I had an errand to do there anyways, but I think he enjoyed his morning with his little girl.

Saturday night we had a sitter come over to keep Charlee Kate and we went out for sushi. We just sat for almost 2.5 hours and watched football and had some sushi. We went to one of our favorite restaurants and sat at the bar to just watch all the action. It was nice to just sit and watch the games and relax. I guess it did help that Bama won too : )

Pictures have to be quick these days, that is why there is always something in her hands. It keeps her happy, LOL

Sunday, I cooked breakfast and we had breakfast on the back porch. The weather was just gorgeous! We both got a few things done, then headed to the mall for a few birthday returns.

Daddy in his new STEELERS FOOTBALL shirt. He wanted a new one for his "sunday attire"

While we were at the mall, we decided at the last second to go ahead and visit Santa Claus. No line... means.... lets get this done! However, I have a million more Christmas outfits I would like to put on Charlee Kate so I just went with what she was wearing then I wouldn't have to decide which one to go see Santa in. This was a cute dress I bought at Anthropologie and loved it, but I didn't have a bow. Oh well, it worked. I might have to sneak to another Santa anyways, she cried and cried this time. She wasn't too sure about him.

All of these pictures were leading up to Santa Claus in the big snow globe at International.

The Princess was there. Charlee Kate wasn't interested. She just wanted the girl's wand.
Now that picture time was over... time for some shopping with her cheerios in hand!

This is her most favorite thing to do anywhere we go "PUSH THE BUTTONS", LOL!
Time to leave the mall and this is how we carry he out... she loves that place

After a nice lunch and time at the mall, we came home, enjoyed the afternoon, then took Charlee Kate for a late afternoon run. A little pumpkin coffee ended the night, while Jeremy watched some Steelers Football!

So all in all.... it was such a fun weekend! I am even more excited because Thanksgiving is around the corner and that means BAMA time and FAMILY time! We can't wait!!!

Jeremy's new finger toe shoes! Yes they are very red, but boy are those things popular. These are some new running shoes for him
These pictures were from Friday night when we headed out to eat then to Wal-Mart! I guess some randoms I just stuck in here.

A day off means... a day out and about!

What a fun day I had off with my little girl. It was a day off MID-WEEK for Veteran's day. Why would I stay home on a day off... time to stay busy, which is what I love, as long as it is fun stuff. We did so many fun things, but the day started with a trip to the mall of course. One of my favorite places, but believe it or not... Charlee Kate's too. Maybe because she has visited so much. On this particular trip, we took Lily with us. I had Lily in my class for 3 straight years. I claim her as part mine. She is just so sweet and she is a HUGE help with Charlee Kate so she went along with us. We had such a fun day!!!
The rocking horse at Neimans. This is always Charlee Kate's favorite place to play. They have such cool toys.
Getting ready to go. Check out her shoes, my absolute favorite. They were her "Stuart Weitzman" shoes and I would give anything if they made this in a bigger size, but they don't. This was officially her last time to wear them because they are now too small. I love these shoes and people do not make them as cute once they hit "size 5". So sad to see them go! (but just in a box... I don't think I can ever part with them)
Riding the elevator (notice no shoes... yep!!! TOO SMALL!). Look at the background. It is ready for Santa Claus!

Here are Lily and Charlee Kate in Diesel. Had to do a fun things in the store and Charlee Kate loved climbing on the clothes display. Good thing all these people know her and love her, LOL
Diesel store still.... they had the COOLEST dark hardwood floor, which I would love in my house, but I wanted a good picture there. CK wasn't cooperating though.

OH AND YES....I am the parent who has the camera in every store I go in. LOL

Now at a store we visit quite often, Custo. She was in the racks at this store, but they love her here too so they could care less
