Are you ready for this????

This could be long, but it is time for a good update!!!! Grab some dunkin donuts coffee and something sweet (or at least that is what I would do) and read away!!

So this weekend was a weekend I have been looking forward to for a long time. For those of you that are new at reading these blogs or new in the "Wilson world"... we make this Fall trip to Birmingham every year and I am always so excited to go!!! We actually go to Birmingham all the time but there are several reasons why I really love it in fall. I love to see the leaves changing, the weather is always cooler, our friends and family are there, and I love to see everyone and every place ready for Bama and Auburn football. I am very blessed to get to come to Bama about every 4-6 weeks, but the fall is always a much more fun trip.

If I could back up to about 5 years ago.... I can give a quick update. We moved from Birmingham to Tallahassee, where we lived for 2 years, then moved to Tampa, where we live now and have for 3 years. Tallahassee really made me grow as a person, but made me realize how much I loved "home/Birmingham". The day I pulled out of Birmingham was the day Jeremy and I both realized... we would be back eventually and it would be our place to call "home". I was going through this withdrawal of leaving the area with my friend Lindsay at the time. She lived away in Fairhope, Alabama... which was such a cute town too. Our husbands would always make fun of us and say "do you have the feeling?" Now "the feeling" was just something that only the 2 of us could understand and it just IMMEDIATELY made us happy! They would always say this the moment our cars pulled into Birmingham because it was just the comforting "feeling" that we loved!!!! Well Lindsay moved back about 2 years ago so she gets to keep the feeling, where I am still battling it, LOL!!! It is now a big joke, but yet, it really is true. Anyways, to make a long story short... Tallahassee was a very growing experience for us and then we had the opportunity to move to Tampa. That has been a much more positive experience. I couldn't say enough good things about Tampa and it has been great, but still.... ready to move back home.

The opportunity opened up almost 2 years ago (in February) for us to move back home. Jeremy got the Alabama territory with his job. Boy were we excited! Even though we are still excited, the "exact moment of moving" just is yet to be known. We have tried to pin point it over and over and it just isn't working. You all know how we have been trying to give an "exact date" and that doesn't always work in God's book. I have had to turn it over to prayers and lots of them, for the right timing to come back to Bama! Some days/most days it is easy, then there are the days here and there that make me want to go RIGHT AT THAT MOMENT!!! I know life is short so I have taken the opportunity to enjoy the here and now that we are currently living in... our health, our precious baby girl, our family, our friends, job, etc... God has me right where I am for a reason so why dwell on something else every day! It takes some mental effort, but it is true. So for those of you wondering "when do you get to move back?" I would say hopefully very soon and we just pray for those signs for the right timing!!!!

Being home all weekend did not make any of this any easier. The "feeling" was hard to leave, our family was hard to leave, our favorite things that we do every time when we come home like places to eat/shop was hard to leave, the TRUE SOUTHERN town was hard to leave, taking Charlee Kate away from her Gammy, Pop, Nana, and Papa was hard to leave, and spending a lot of time with Jenn and Michael and Lindsay made it hard to leave. But.... I know we had to do it. It was such an amazing weekend that I needed and loved! I know I get to do this every few weeks and I will be back in 5 weeks, but it is always harder in the fall. Just not sure why. So for all my blogging friends, just pray for us, we are READY TO COME HOME!

Enjoy our pictures! Lots were taken with my camera phone because my husband forgot to bring the camera, but that's okay. This works : )

We went out with Jennifer and Michael and spent the night with them. We had so much fun and we laughed so hard!!! Jeremy and Michael just pick up and start laughing/joking as if they talked every day. That just goes to show what good friends we truly have. We miss you guys and thank you for letting us stay!!!

Jeremy and I stayed in the Mountain Brook area and went running one morning. Look at this gorgeous house for sale. The houses and trees are just beautiful! Its amazing how all of those back roads just come right back to you.
I took a picture of Mountain Brook Elementary (would have taken it of your school Jennifer, but wasn't running that way, haha). I took this picture to show how gorgeous a school can be and not just a big block of concrete! Even my old Elementary school where I went for 6 years is a pretty school!
This cracked me up!!! Even hotels in Bama have bags that are monogrammed. This was not my own monogrammed bag, it was the hotel's.
Just the beautiful streets and shopping areas of B'ham!

Jennifer and Michael's new house. It is so adorable and the inside is gorgeous. She didn't want me to take pics quite yet because it wasn't finished, but it is adorable how it is!!! I understand because I am the same way. I like everyone to see everything finished!
Charlee Kate playing at her Nana's house outside. She loved playing out there.
Jeremy jumping on the trampoline with the nieces and nephews. Charlee Kate loved watching!
My little lovey ready for GAME DAY!!! Her outfit says Juicy Couture, but it is red and she has on her Alabama squeakers!!

Charlee Kate with her Pop!

Playing in the Halloween basket with balls. She loves it! "Ball" is one of her MANY new words. She is starting to talk like crazy! It is truly amazing how much they pick up on and learn so quickly.
This picture was taken when mom and I flew home with Charlee Kate. She loved looking out of the window.
Gammy and Charlee Kate walking through the airport
Look at that sweet girl laughing!

Eating with my grandparents at the best brunch place there ever was!!!

She loves to turn upside down! haha
Time to go eat at yogurt Mountain! I love this place and so does Charlee Kate

Shopping at the mall... my child loves it THANK GOODNESS!

Bama Bound!

It is finally that time to go back to Bama for a long weekend. I can't tell you how excited I am!!! I am so ready to just be back in Birmingham, see the mountains/hills, gorgeous weather, and of course all of our family and friends. I am sure my trip will fly by, but we are so excited about going. I have my camera out and will be taking lots and lots of pictures. This whole week has pretty much been a blur! I feel like I have hardly seen my little girl and just so much to do... I promise better pictures for the next 3 days.

Until then... here is one random picture I took with my camera phone when mom brought Charlee Kate to visit my students at school. They were so excited and have been talking about it for 2 days now : )

Weekend Bliss!

So this weekend was wonderful! I couldn't have ask for a better weekend (well maybe a little cooler weather and Bama winning, LOL). Other than that, it was wonderful! Jeremy and I enjoyed just relaxing on Friday night. He had been gone almost all week so he was so excited to see Charlee Kate and we just played with her all night.

Saturday started out with a cool morning run (before it warmed up), then we picked my car up all clean and serviced (so glad to get it back... the YOTA is not my thing), then off to do errands. I enjoyed going a few places I have been wanting to go on Saturday and just do it on my own time. My mom flew in Saturday and boy did Charlee Kate "light up" when she saw her!!!! Jeremy and I enjoyed a very nice, long dinner on Saturday night while mom stayed back with Charlee Kate. Nothing like some good tuna!

Sunday was just as nice... slept in, went to church, made my usual round to Dunkin Donuts for their coffee, then back home for the most of the day. IT has just been nice and nice to have mom here helping out. The best part is... Bama here we come. I really do think BAMA misses us so it will be so exciting to go home, see friends and family, and go to an Alabama game. This seems to be an annual thing and I love it!!! I know i will have lots of pictures for the upcoming week so just stay tuned!!!

Mom and I took Charlee Kate to Target around lunchtime. We made her a little place to eat, LOL
She loves to "sit back" against things now. This is where she chose to sit Saturday afternoon.
Have a great week!!! XOXOXO

I am thankful for a "life"...

This has truly been a crazy crazy week! I could go on and on about the millions of things that have just gone wrong, but through it all I realized.... THANK YOU GOD that I have a life and I have one "outside of school". There are many people that live, eat, and breath that place. I do LOVE my job, but I am so thankful for friends, family, and my hobbies and likes. I just love this time of year and being able to spend it with people I love to be with.

Here are a few pictures for the week!

My little girl is all ready for Halloween in her new outfit! Why i didn't get a picture with her shoes on, I don't know! I have become a shoe queen for her. I love all her shoes!

She had on her cute black Juicy shoes with this. I loved it!
One of the many things that has happened this week, is my car had to go to the BMW dealership one morning before school. Jeremy was at the airport, I missed a meeting, and everything else that could have happened, did. Needless to say it was crazy! However, thank goodness we have an "extra car". The "yota" truck came through for us and Charlee Kate thinks she is BIG STUFF getting to sit up front with me. She loves it! It makes it kind of easy to give her what she needs too : ) Jeremy loves this truck, not sure if he will ever part with it.

Fall is....

Playing outside and being outside lots and lots and lots! That is pretty much what our weekend involved, as you saw in the previous blog. I love how the air is changing, becoming a little cooler, less humid, and just gorgeous out! I love that it is football season and time to eat soup. My little girl gets to wear leg warmers again, which we lived in last fall and winter, and all her fall clothes. I just love this time of the year. Today was her first day for a cute fall outfit!!! I had to take a picture, even though they weren't the best.
My little girl in her first fall outfit! I love it and this will be so cute with leg warmers very soon!
Yes a paci has started.... only because she is using her tongue as a paci and sucking on it hard. I knew we had to break her of this and a paci would be better because it could cause big problems down the road if we let her still suck on that tongue.

My favorite are the gold TOMS shoes

This gorgeous view of trees when I did a 22 mile run with a friend... however, this type of beautiful walkway is not normal for our area.
Fall is.... everyone playing outside!!! Even if it means Charlee Kate plays with the car wash brush, LOL.
Teaching Charlee Kate how to throw Brady's ball
Charlee Kate loves to eat cheerios, especially out of the box. That is a bad habit I have let her learn.
I guess I had so many pictures from our weekend in Nashville and Bama that I skipped several of them when I was going through them. Here they are..
I love when she puts that finger in her mouth. It usually means she is so excited about something.
She really did love this lollipop! It probably reminded her of the one we used with the photographer

The last time we took this picture, Mary Florence was 10 months old, Jace was 1 1/2 years old, and Charlee Kate was 5 weeks old. Now, they are all one year older and have changed so much! I miss Lindsay and Jenn and these babies! These are Charlee Kate's friends, she just doesn't know it, haha! Can't wait to be back in Birmingham with you girls one day!

Her TIFFANY bracelet from mom and dad. She will get this one day when she is older, but we are adding "special charms" to it as she grows older. She already has the lollipop one that is in honor of her first birthday.
Opening her bracelet
A new "BAMA" outfit
Her first pair of diamond earrings from Nana! Boy this little girl has the jewelry thing going on!

I heart Saturdays and nicer weather!!

What a fun day we had. It has actually been gorgeous weather here in Florida so we took Charlee Kate "down south" to Hyde Park and several other places. Here we are at the park. All she did is watch people so we finally left and went to the mall.
We had lots of people ask us if we were Alabama fans. I guess we all went a little overboard on our Bama gear for the day, haha! However, we were playing Florida and we live in the state of Florida so OF COURSE we had to sport our Bama gear!!!

She does love to sit on the swings. Boy how she loved the park!

So I thought I was hiding my water bottle (which explains the crazy stance) but apparently I wasn't, LOL
Riding on Daddy's shoulders!
Heading to eat lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. She had the cutest lollipop in her hands. It was a pink and white swirl one from The Grand Opening of the Juicy store. It would have been cute for her birthday party since we used lots of lollipops
Oh how my child LOVES LOVES to be out and see a crowd. Funny how she didn't enjoy being the center of attention at her own birthday party, but had about 10 people's attention at Cheesecake Factory and completely showed out for them. Maybe I should have had her party at the mall???
The "finger shoes" as I call them. Jeremy says he started a trend b/c he bought them when they weren't popular and now they are now. They are ugly as can be, but he exercises in them and loves them. Here is the new display at the Running store. Jeremy thinks he needs the red ones for "bama shoes"

What have the Wilson's been doing?

Where have we been? Just busy and I just haven't taken any pictures. The only 2 pictures I have from this week were taken with my phone, but they will work until this upcoming weekend. It is going to be a gorgeous fun weekend so I plan to take lots of fun pictures. Charlee Kate loves to eat cheerios "on her own" from the baggie or the box. She thinks she is such a big girl!
We have Brady for the weekend and if you remember from my other blog postings, this is just heaven for Charlee Kate. She loves him! We went out in "style" tonight! Just a diaper and a
t-shirt. Jeremy and I took Charlee Kate for a run, then we went and got the dogs to play in the park area. Charlee Kate wanted to learn how to throw Brady's ball. She loved it!
