We are in Bama!

We are here in Bama. Yesterday we drove in from the beach. Mom and I took Charlee Kate shopping, then last night we went to Jeremy's parents to eat with his mom and dad and my parents or Jeremy's birthday. This morning Jeremy and I went for a long run and the trees were gorgeous!!! So was the weather. We had a very relaxing day. My grandparents came to see Charlee Kate and we had Thanksgiving dinner along with a birthday celebration tonight with Jeremy's whole family. Here are some pictures from our trip so far.

Time for a windy walk on the beach!

It was very windy but such a gorgeous day for a walk on the beach. Chloe loved it more than anyone. Love, love my Quinny stroller, it made it through the sand! Bama we are on our way in the morning.

Diaper check

Here is my little girl laughing at her daddy before we head out to dinner. I love hats!!!! (as I have said before, I like hats better than bows). Leopard is my favorite, but we all know a girl can't always wear the same thing. She needs a variety so.... I ordered several more hats. As we headed out to Destin today to go shopping, I had Charlee Kate dressed so cute!!! Before we pulled out my happy little girl smelled funny. I did a quick diaper check and found poop all the way up to her armpits. I didn't even get a picture in this cute outfit before i had to change it. The funny part, she was still laughing and smiling even though that was all over her. Oh well... we will wear the outfit again and I know that is not the last poopie experience either.

This picture cracked me up. As I was fixing the stroller for our walk and I looked down and this is what I saw.

The day we arrived at the condo... Hurricane Ida had just left. The ocean looked very "mean".

Two days later........ It is back to the gorgeous place we are used to seeing.

You do what you have to do...

We had to make a little detour while heading to mom and dads condo because o Hurricane Ida. We stayed in Tallahassee which was nice for a night because I have only been back once since we moved. However, rather than NOT giving Charlee Kate a bath, I wanted her to still know that she gets a bath, then eats, then bedtime. Keeping our schedule. even on the road. We stayed at a new hotel in Tallahassee and it was nice, but very contemporary. Therefore no bathtub. We made it work, but she loves to kick in her baths and so the bathroom was soaked when she was done. She is getting so big!!! CONDO HERE WE COME!

Our day...

I am so mad at myself...my friend Susan and I like to take our babies and go walking (Her little boy Wyatt is 2 months older than Charlee Kate). Today we went to Bayshore to go walking. For those people not familiar with Tampa, this is like Homewood or Mountain Brook by the water. It is gorgeous. It is also the longest continuous sidewalk in the U.S. Thanks for that little bit of trivia Susan. Anyways...totally off track, but I am mad at myself because I forgot my camera. They were so cute riding in their strollers sleeping and they always do so good for us to walk at least an hour or so. The view was gorgeous today and Susan showed me Derek Jeter's house being built along the water. It is not a house... more like a compound!!!

I hope to get a picture the next time we take a walk. Charlee Kate did so good. She seems to do best when we stay on the go. That must mean she is my child for sure! I knew she had something of me in her, but she has her daddy's passive, happy go lucky personality. We went to International Mall afterwards and she just slept then woke up and smiled and talked to everyone. She was such a good shopper. She had on a cute little outfit too so I promise not to forget the camera next time. Until next time....bama here we come.

Answer is.... NOPE!!! So is there any Jamie in Charlee Kate, anywhere??? I posted Jeremy's baby picture first and LOTS of random pictures of Charlee Kate, but her face, hair line, even hands are all totally him. She is definitely his baby : ) He was outside and just found this picture and we both just started laughing. Of course everyone has seen Jeremy from the beginning though. You can tell even more by looking at the two of them in the post under this one.

When i got home, this is what I found...

After my longer run this morning, I came in to a quite house and this is what I found. You can't really tell because of the background but they were laying in the bed and CK was laughing the whole time. That is all she does. It is so sweet!!
