Quiet end to the month

February was a busy and fun month to get started. Towards the end of the month, it's been quiet. Not as much happening. Still hoping for a good snow before spring fever sets in! 

Middle of February...Beckham and I had a morning at Birmingham botanical gardens. Such a great time to just run around and enjoy the sunshine! It was gorgeous! We are so blessed to be so close to the zoo and botanical gardens. 

Family picture day at the park. All in all, it went well. Pictures can be stressful but the kids did great. We had to include Chloe in some. She's been part of our family for 14 years but still going strong 

Winter festival at shades Cahaba. This is the big fundraiser for the school. The kids had so much fun!

Sunday morning...everyone just happened to match but boy these two cuties were in a "mood". The explosion after the picture was something else 😂. Thank goodness for Sunday school to get us all back on track

I am a winter and fall girl! I love the hints of spring if I can keep the cool crisp air. I got out some Easter decor this week. I was in the mood as I have ordered new things for the house and did some redecorating 

Thursday, February 25....Anxiously waiting for Gammy and Pop! CK went to Kelly and Kevin's for a long weekend with my parents. She was so very excited to see her cousins. Jeremy and I got some one on one time with Beckham. We all even slept late!!! ❤️

There is a girls store in Birmingham called Ivivva. It's Lululemon for kids. Charlee Kate went to model a few new outfits they got in for spring. She loved it. I think she loves these clothes as much as I do for exercising!

Valentine's Day

My 2nd favorite holiday! I love this holiday and I thought long and hard about Valentine happies and our valentines plans. It was the perfect weekend 

I surprised the kids with their happy gifts on valentines eve. I wanted them to be able to play and enjoy them. Charlee Kate got all kinds of "shopkins" things...panties, pj's, actual shopkins, and then neon pink converse. Beckham got another tractor (one he could ride and the front loader moves). Plus...green converse! Cons are my favorite! I did order their special cookies for a treat! They were both so excited.

Valentines morning! Heart shaped cinnamon rolls, eggs, paleo casserole, and chocolate covered strawberries

Jeremy and I went out Saturday night to celebrate. So Charlee Kate picked Little Donkey to go eat dinner on Valentine's Day. Afterwards...steel city pops as usual. My parents actually took the kids for about 5 hours on Valentine's Day too. I would definitely say they had a great weekend!!!

Mercedes race

Mercedes race has always been one of my favorites in Birmingham. Charlee Kate started running it last year for kindergarten. She loves it and gets so excited! This year her best friend Harper was running the race too. They were SO excited to be doing it together. It turned out to be a cold race! It usually is though

Valentines party

Valentines Day is one of my favorite holidays! So it just felt right to throw a party for CK and her friends! This was so much fun to plan for!!! 

It was a donuts and pajama party!
