The Easter Bunny Came!

When Charlee Kate gets excited, she puts those fingers in her mouth. It was so cute! She was so excited the Easter Bunny came. She got a few cute outfits, but those were already in her closet. She could care less about them anyways. The stuff she really loved was right here!!!


The "pool rings" and the silly bands were her absolute favorite! She loves oreo cookies too, but will not eat the cookie, only the creme in the middle so the Easter Bunny got her double stuff oreos so she could have extra creme.

When Kelly, Kevin, Hunter, and Ella came over, we gave the kids baskets from all of us. Here is Charlee Kate opening her basket from them.

It was one of those....

DAYS!!!!! Just one of those days/moments, when I stopped and said "yes I am ready to be back home!!". I hate the storms that Bama keeps getting, but knowing they have a high of 72 and a low of 48 in a couple of days sounds sooooo amazing to me. I will take it any day over 89, warm, muggy, and humid. I am crazy to most of you I am sure. This mother of one little lovey who just loves to sing, a wife to her high school sweetheart, and daughter, sister, and friend to a lot of important people, is just ready for the good ole' south. I just can't wait! It hit me after Easter weekend that I am even more ready than ever to be back home.. Like I said above, It just randomly "hit" me hard this time. Therefore, there are lots of boxes in my house now and it looks pretty empty. When I get busy and motivated, I get lots done!!!

Jeremy has been in Bama and yesterday morning I told him I was craving cake bites from Pastry Art. He said, "Well you know what??? In a few short weeks you can go get them anytime you want because you will be right there. Just hold on a little bit longer". It was funny. I know they are just cake bites, but they sure did sound good. I also loved how excited he got to tell me that.

Our Easter Weekend!

What a wonderful Easter weekend we had! Our church had a Saturday night service so that is the Easter service we attended. It was kind of weird on Sunday not going to Easter church, but we just hung out as a family. I kind of liked the change. There is a big change in "Easter outfits" here and back in Bama like I am used to. We just kept it casual for Easter. We made it back from Orlando about 2 hours before having to leave for church. We made it though and the service was amazing!

After church they had a huge Easter egg hunt and activities for the kids. We only stayed about 10 minutes for the egg hunt and she really didn't care about it. I think she picked up one egg. She really wanted to sit and organize the baskets and play with them. You can see them all in the background. She loved these baskets!

Lots to talk about

Well 2 fabulous days have come and gone! Here is a quick update, but more details and pictures to come over the next few days. It could take me a couple of days to literally get all my pictures sorted. We had a great time at Animal Kingdom in Disney, swimming and relaxing at the pool at the resort, shopping in Orlando which is a big favorite, and just spending time with my baby girl and Jeremy. We made it back from Orlando just in time for a quick clean out of the car, unpacking, cutting the grass, and showers to go to night time Easter service at Church. Church was an amazing service as usual and was a great addition to last week's service. After church Charlee Kate participated in the egg hunt there for about 10 minutes and then she was ready to go. All in all, it was a lot of fun! I have so many more pictures to post, but here is just one of little Miss Priss with her purse! Happy Easter and more to come soon!

I'm a Pepper!!!

We (me and Dr. Pepper) go way back!!! Dr. Pepper is my absolute favorite drink ever and I love it! Here I am as a little kid with my "I'm a Pepper" shirt on. Then... there is Charlee Kate with it on as well. Still looks like it is new. I tried and tried to get a cute picture WITHOUT her breaking my Chanel sunglasses, LOL. I still want a better one where it looks more like me, but here is what I have so far. Thanks so much to my mom who saved all my cute outfits and cute things! I love them!

Little buddies

Charlee Kate have been little friends for awhile now. We met Mae when we would go to the cry room at church when they were babies. There is only 2 weeks between the girls. Charlee Kate loves to go play with Mae. We always have a play date once a week and not sure what we will do when we move. We will miss them so much!!! On Sunday we went swimming with them. Here are a few pictures from our fabulous family day!

We have to keep a hat on Charlee Kate to keep that head from getting burned! I put sunscreen on it, but will feel so much better when she has more hair to cover it! Mae has plenty of hair for the both of them. It is so cute!

Monday Morning again!!!

Did the weekend really have to end??? It ended up being a super fun weekend, even though it was super busy. We were very busy on Saturday, but it was a good Saturday. Charlee Kate really enjoyed playing with her cousins A LOT this weekend. She even woke up from her nap on Sunday saying "See Ella, See Ella". She really enjoys her play time with them. Saturday afternoon and night involved some fun shopping at the mall and eating at Nordstroms Cafe. It was so yummy and I was craving my favorite meal from there. Plus, Charlee Kate was the best shopper. Somehow, I have trained her right, LOL. Sunday we went to church and they had a great church service! We needed a "pool change" so we went to the pool with Brian, Jacki, and Mae at their pool area. The girls swam for almost 2.5 hours and loved it! I have pictures to post from our swim playdate. Those will come soon! Now it is time for another week, yet again! However, it is only a 4 day week and we are off to Orlando and Disney at the end of the week so I can't wait!!!!

Even though it has been a MONTH, the lady at Neimans, finally sent me a few pictures that she took of the Fashion show. Here are a few more pictures from the Fashion Show in March. Charlee Kate is posing on the stage for this one, but of course, I had to be very near by!

Can we say busy???

Each week just gets busier and crazier! I think I am going to have a chance to breathe and that just doesn't happen. It is all good though. There are so many good things happening in our house that I don't want to complain at all. Some days just get super busy and we are super tired, but that is part of the transition process.

This week my grandparents and aunt and uncle came to visit us one night. It was really good to see them. We all went to eat at IHOP, which turned out to be quite chaotic. You never know with these babies how the dinner will go. Some days they have no problems and are perfect little angels, but sometimes they are not quite so perfect, LOL. This was one of those times when they were NOT so perfect. By the time we left IHOP, we were exhausted. However, it was so good to see our family and have them in town, even if it was for such a short time.

Over the last few days we have had lots to do, things with Ella and Hunter, which Charlee Kate gets sooooo excited about, some play dates, Jeremy was gone most of the week, and preparing for what is ahead of us. There are lots of exciting events coming up though. We are taking Charlee Kate to Disney for the first time next week. We normally wouldn't take her "this early" but since we are moving and we have free tickets, we are going to go for a couple of days. We are 1 hour from Disney, we might as well take advantage of it 1 time before we leave. I can't wait to see how she likes it!!!

Well that is it for the week, thank goodness it is Friday. I just love the feeling of a Friday and a Friday afternoon is an even better feeling. Looking forward to a fabulous weekend!

Eating a bite of the dessert that Jeremy loved and I thought I was going to love...based on the look on my face.... but did not like it after I ate it. Check out all the "crap" in the background. That is how this place was. Food was very very good though! Neat experience.

However, there was one dessert that we all shared and needless to say... we liked it!
